Spindle Collet

Overview:

High-precision spindle collet used in the Carvera. The machine will come with a 1/8 inch (3.175mm) collet by default, which is for using 1/8 inch milling bits (the most suitable one). But you can use other models for milling bits with different shanks.

Installation:

You can use the spindle collet installer to change the spindle collet (can find it in the toolbox), learn more in the instruction manual.

Note:

if you want to use milling bits with shaft sizes other than 1/8 inch (3.175mm), you also need to purchase corresponding bits collars.
