1. The inner walls of the pipe are smoother, reducing the likelihood of blockages and minimizing the occurrence of loud whistling when used with high-suction vacuum cleaners.
2. The pipe's color has been changed to semi-transparent, making it easier to detect any internal blockages.

To determine if your machine has been updated with the new version of the dust collection pipe, you can check whether the pipe is semi-transparent.
